Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, the Accountant will be responsible to manage all financial transactions. The Accountant’s responsibilities include month end transaction, reconciling accounts, and wide range of book keeping. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.


Roles and responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  • Ensure compliance with all Provincial and Federal regulation in all areas of accounting
  • Prepare all month-end transactions.
  • Prepare and enter Payroll entries and cross charging labor.
  • Prepare Bank, CC, and Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Follow up on Project’s Revenue recognition.
  • Perform Intercompany reconciliations
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Accrue of revenue and COGs
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Revaluation of standard costs.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
  • All other relevant duties as assigned


  • Hold a degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3 years + of relevant experience
  • Experience with multi company and international
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel)
  • Experience with Oracle Netsuite a plus
  • Excellent technical knowledge of accounting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and problem solving
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Bilingual (English & French)
